The SIAS IBM i Enterprise solution takes your Power VM Cloud hosting experience to a higher level. You get all the advantages of our Tier 3 data centers; enterprise-level infrastructure with 24×7 monitoring; OS support, including quarterly PTF installation; and high performance SAS/SSD tiered storage. SIAS IBM i Enterprise is designed to support demanding workloads with more complicated implementation requirements. Secure system connectivity is standard using dedicated IPSEC VPN tunnels, SSL Client VPN and TN5250 over SSL with options for dedicated routers and firewalls. Standby HA ensures that additional capacity is always available to quickly move your Power VM instance to different hardware if needed, providing a higher uptime SLA. SIAS has a particularly strong focus in IBM workloads. With more than 20 years of experience implementing and maintaining IBM Power Systems (i.e. iSeries, AS/400) running i5OS, AIX and Linux, we have the ability to clearly understand the needs of the IBM Power System user.
The SIAS environment was designed and built from the ground up to run optimized, reliable and secure IBM Power Systems. The core compute resources are delivered using IBM PureFlex Chassis and System Nodes with Storewize SANs for backend storage.
