Success on the cloud is all about making the right connections, gathering as much information as possible, and keeping everything in sharp focus. All were available in abundance at the Next Gen Cloud Conference, held December 8-10 at the Marriott Marquis in San Diego, California.

The show was a meeting of the minds of sorts, bringing together solution providers and vendor executives who shared insights on cloud sales, marketing, and cloud computing solutions. The exhibition was a combination conference/trade show, preceded by an invitation-only Executive Day, which SIAS was pleased to attend. The three-day event featured something for everyone: Solution providers were treated to workshops, case studies on successful migrations to the cloud, and given a step-by-step explanation of how to effectively and efficiently accelerate their transition to the cloud. For companies still curious about how to make the transformation to the cloud, this particular workshop proved invaluable.

While at the show we took the opportunity to lead a series of roundtable discussions on the use of the Private and Public clouds. We also spent three days networking on the expo floor, greeting vendors and making a number of solid partner prospects in a variety of key strategic industries.

Attending trade shows like NexGen provides SIAS with a golden opportunity to advance our mission of promoting the cloud as an essential business tool. We’re grateful to everyone who helped to make our showing in San Diego a success!
