SIAS’s world-class managed Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) allows you to effectively deploy virtual and dedicated servers, develop apps and run production-ready workloads. The scalable, open source IaaS is built on the powerful OpenStack cloud platform, KVM hypervisor and enterprise-level compute, storage and networking infrastructure to ensure reliable and consistent performance.
With SIAS, there are no upfront hardware investments and you easily adjust capacity and scalability when they need it. Plus, you’ll have the ability to consolidate servers, collocated infrastructure, VPS and shared hosting – as well as in-house application servers and testing environments to deliver a flexible, cost–effective cloud.

- Enables tightly coupled IBM Power8 hardware with the standard x86 servers.
- Workloads may be seamlessly assigned to IBM nodes and or x86 servers.
- Ability to run workloads based on virtual machines and / or containers.
- Kubernetes (an advanced orchestration system) can be leveraged to auto scale container-based workloads from a SIAS based private cloud to public clouds like Amazon or Google.
- Workloads include production, test and development, high availability, business continuity, or disaster recovery
